Mobile Dental's portable dental X-ray, the Port-XD, provides maximum portability as well as mobility. It is the first design to successfully permit ease of movement both within and between facilities, yet still enabling you to position the X-ray tubehead where you need it. Whether the patient is in a Dental chair, wheelchair or bed, the Port-XD provides you with a stable platform and can be repositioned quickly and easily.

The XD uses an industry standard Trophy style 70 KvP tubehead and timer. The unit is conveniently stored in a low profile, sturdy wheeled case when not in use. To set up, simply open the case, mount the included telescoping stand and arm to the external bracket and connect the X-ray tubehead and timer. The telescoping stand permits appropriate height adjustment, while the shock-mounted arm permits precision placement to accommodate your typical intra-oral imaging requirements.

The XD case also serves as the base for the modular portable dental system offered by Mobile Dental, which includes a portable dental operatory (the PORT-Op III), and instrument case. The Port-XD allows maximum in-office mobility and ease of portability between locations - so store it away when not in use or take it with you on outside calls.
